Can I remove my wisdom tooth at the same day as my consultation?
Yes, please inform our staff over the phone if you are keen for surgery on the same day. An appointment will be arranged for you.
Can I get all my wisdom teeth removed together?
Yes, it is possible to remove all your wisdom teeth together, however there are certain cases where removal of all 4 wisdom teeth is not indicated. Please check with our friendly dentists if you are keen to remove all your wisdom teeth.
What can I expect after removing my wisdom teeth?
It is normal to experience a small amount of pain, bleeding and swelling over the surgical site.
It will ease off after 3 to 5 days.
You will need to remove your stitches 1 week post surgery. Stitch removal is completely free.
Can I go back to work?
Post surgery experience varies from patient to patient. It is recommended for you to rest at home on your day of surgery. You may return to work if you feel better on the next day onwards.
Can I use my parent’s or spouse’s medisave
Yes, you may use your parent’s medisave and spouse’s. They have to follow you for the appointment to sign the required documents.
I've extracted my wisdom tooth, how do I care for my wound?
Congratulations on completing your wisdom tooth surgery!
You will still experience numbness for about 2 to 5 hours.
The swelling and pain usually ease off after 3 to 5 days.
Gauze will be issued for the extracted area. Bite hard on the gauze and change it every 30 minutes.
Do not spit or rinse for 2 hours after the extraction.
Avoid any hot food or drinks and soft diet is advisable.
Gently brush the area starting from the day after the surgery, it is normal to experience a small amount of bleeding from the wound.
